The July 30 visit was to have the Service Department evaluate whether a single transmission repair would be all the car needed. If so I was going to have the car repaired. The evaluation revealed some other major issues and Ray, the service desk manager, recommended that I not invest any more money into repairing the car. Ray's honest evaluation allowed me to pursue buying a used car from Durand rather than continue to try to repair a "sinking ship". I completed the purchase of a used vehicle just today. This honesty is what I've come to expect from the folks at Durand Chevrolet and it is greatly appreciated. They will always get my business either car maintenance or future vehicle purchases.
